I already know what this is as I'm an industry insider. The big news is that the MP part of Halo Reach is going to be released on PS3 as an online game only. So while the single player and multiplayer portion of the game come exclusive to 360....the PS3 is getting the online portion of the game as a standalone game. This will be Bungie's introduction to PS3 fans and owners, and the start of there multiplatform endeavors.
As long as its a good port and doesn't suffer the way other 360 leads have, then the level of Sony-fanboyism on this is out of control. Plenty of games that were lead on 360 and ported to PS3 have turned out just fine. With the exception of Bayonetta, mostly every multiplat released recently, regardless of lead platform, have turned out equal. The Club would be a good example, as it was actually made by Bizarre, and both PS3 and 360 versions were basically identical.

Just bring out cross game chat already, and a system that allows me to join friends games from the xmb bar. Too many games have too many different ways to try getting into friends games, and some games system either doesn't work, or doesn't exist.

I really wish they would take this series back to it's linear routes. I'm not for open world Burnout. I would love to see both Burnout and SSX new versions that harked back to there humble beginnings. Yeh, I hope Castlevania is as good as early glimpses promise. It has failed to make the 3d transition, as all attempts have been lacklustre...but seeing how Kojima is involved in the process of this one, it may have a chance of being good.

I agree with this score. The game pretty much feels like a solid attempt at a God Of War-esque game, but is several rungs down the quality ladder in every department from the benchmark GOW series.

I swapped disks on PS1 over 10 years ago on the cd based machine. I have 360 and PS3, and no matter what way 360 fanboys cut it, it is bad. 360 fanboys were bashing Bayonetta for fractionally longer load times on PS3, whereas this 3 disk crap has your game time getting interrupted, and forces you to further yourself from the immersion of the game, to get up and change out disks.
They should have committed to either HDDVD or Blu Ray, as much sh1t that is put on Sony, they have...
I hope it's great. Who cares if it went multiplat. COD series is multiplat and it does not hurt there quality or appeal.
And even though Dantes Inferno really wasn't impressive for me at all, and felt like a poor mans GOW, many people were impressed by the demo. So if this game can be of a similar quality compared to Gears (as Dante compared to GOW) then it has a good chance of selling. Cross game chat and easier friend spotting and inviting cross game would perfect an already great online setup, it's just MS's Live service has these two edges, and they do make a big difference when hooking up with mates online.....especially the cross game invites and putting a game straight in and being able to join a friends game from the xmb, without having to go into the game and have to contend with each individual games screw around methods of doing so.
